Meet the Teams

Auditions for Season 4 will be held in May 2026!

Teams are formed based on both age and skill level,

​

​Junior team: Birth years 2010-2015
Mini teams (Elementary and Primary) 2016-2019​

Tiny Teams (Tiny and Prep) 2019-2021

​

What to expect:

All LED Competitive Teams will attend Michigan-based All-Star dance competitions. 
Junior and Elementary teams also have the opportunity to compete at Nationals, located in Florida. 

Limelight Elite's team schedules run year-round, with a few small breaks throughout the season. Every team trains in Acrobatic arts,  ballet technique, and skills,  in addition to their competition dance routines. Teams may compete in Hip-Hip, Pom, and Jazz. As a team member, you can expect to practice three times a week, (minimum of 3 hours total for Mascots through 6 hours weekly for Juniors) Additional Classes will also be offered exclusively to team members, to ensure that any dancer who strives to further refine their dance skills has the resources to do so.  Throughout the season, teammates will also be given various dance opportunities such as camps, clinics, and community events.
