Meet the Teams

Limelight Elite Dance is currently in their second season, which runs through March 2025.  To become a team member, please attend tryouts/auditions in May 2025.  Ages 5+, teams are divided based on age.

What to expect: (2024)

All LED Competitive Teams will attend approximately 7 Michigan-based All-Star dance competition (Prep Team attending 3). 
Mini and Youth teams also have the opportunity to compete at Nationals, located in Florida. 

Limelight Elite's team schedules run year-round, with a few small breaks throughout the season. Every team trains in Acrobatic arts,  ballet technique, and skills,  in addition to their competition dance routines. Teams may compete in Hip-Hip, Pom, and Jazz. As a team member, you can expect to practice three times a week, (minimum of 3 hours total for Mascots through 6 hours weekly for Youth.) Additional Classes will also be offered exclusively to team members, to ensure that any dancer who strives to further refine their dance skills has the resources to do so.  Throughout the season, teammates will also be given various dance opportunities such as camps, clinics, and community events.
